• Both Vessels are sister Vessels of the well-known Seahorse 35 design and were built for the present Owners but the Owners , ( together with designers and class) have since increased their deadweight to close to 36 Ktdw .
• Neither ship is fitted with a BWTS. However, for the MV Renate a BWTS has already been ordered with Alfa Laval (Type PureBallast 3 Compact Flex, capacity: 1,000 cbm/h) at quite an attractive price and the engineering has already commenced. Buyers can take over the contract Owners have with Alfa Laval.
• Both vessels are fitted with 3 x 660KW 6EY18ALW Auxiliary Engines built by YANMAR Co., Ltd., Japan, i.e. the aux engines were not built under licence in China .
• The ships are rich in equipment from Western makers - via the link below please see pages 72 onwards in the IDWAL inspection report for M/V Renate for further details. The MV Nina-Marie Blt 2012 is a direct sister of MV Renate (i.e. built by same Owners at the same time at the same yard with the same equipment) and considered to be in a similar condition, albeit a year older.
