Speed and consumption is under good weather condition on the basis of up to beaufort scale 4 and douglas sea state 3 with no adverse/negative effect of swell or current.
About at sea is defined as 0.5 knot more or less for speed and 5% more or less for consumption.
Consume about 1.5MT/day LSFO additionally in case of operating 2 generators for hold cleaning, ballast water exchanging, deck washing after loading at sea …. etc
In port :
About 3.50MT LSFO(380CST) + about 0.2MT LSMGO per day when idle.
About 5.50MT LSFO(380CST) + about 0.2MT LSMGO per day when working.
Vessels has the liberty of using LSMGO at start/stop switch generator engine at sea, when entering/leaving port, maneuvering in shallow/narrow waters ,canals, rivers and at other Limited occasions.
Some additional LSMGO when maneuvering in confined/congested/restricted waters may be used provided such usage is determined to be essential for the safe maneuvering of the vessel, always at the discretion of the Master.
Bunker grades: IFO 380CST (RMG 35)/MGO (DMB) as per ISO 8217:2010 and within its Specifications for marine fuels as amended from time to time.
